Tuchel rules out Suarez move Head coach Thomas Tuchel has all but ruled out the prospect of him attempting to lure Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez to Stamford Bridge. Ahead of tonight's UEFA Champions League meeting between the two clubs, Tuchel was asked if he would be keen to add the former Liverpool man to his squad in west London after being keen on signing him at Paris Saint-Germain. However, Tuchel moved quickly to shutdown any likelihood of that happening, suggesting that he would not perhaps fit in within his plans for his squad at Chelsea. That was down to a particular moment and he maybe would've been a fit to our squad in Paris. "Now things are different. He is under contract now at Atletico Madrid and it's not worth thinking about it honestly. I haven’t and the possibility is high we won’t think about it [in the future]." Carragher questions Hudson-Odoi decision Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has insisted that it was "not right" for Tuchel to take Callum Hudson-Odoi off just over half an hour after calling upon him to step off the bench against Southampton on Saturday. Hudson-Odoi, who has impressed during the early stages of Tuchel's tenure at Stamford Bridge, was called upon to replace Tammy Abrahamat the break, with the Blues 1-0 down after the first 45 minutes.

. Despite that bravery, Carragher has criticised Tuchel for the move. He told Sky Sports: "A manager is paid to make decisions and get results. If [Tuchel] felt making that change gave them more chance of winning the game and helping Chelsea get in the Champions League, then I have absolutely no problem with it. "[Hudson-Odoi] lost the ball seven times in the game and had it 18, so that may have been a problem for the manager. But the two times he lost it poorly, he was sprinting after the ball. I think it was not right to bring him off. "We don’t know exactly why he brought him off. But sometimes a manager sees one thing and wants to make a change. "I think it was very harsh to bring him off."
