PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Aaron Ramsdale: His passing wasn't on point, but the England 'keeper produced a string of sublime saves to keep Arsenal in front. The variety of the stops will be what pleased him most, with some one-vs-ones and some point blanks reflex saves. 8. Ben White: Struggled a bit up against Wilfried Zaha but won't be the first player to do so this season. Did ok when he got forward, but he often had his hands too full with the Ivorian to contribute much to the attack. 5. William Saliba: Such an impressive Premier League debut from the Frenchman who was assured throughout against a tricky Palace attack. Rarely forced into last ditch defending because of his excellent positioning, but pulled it off sublimely when needed. 8. Gabriel: A far more assured display from the Brazilian than on his last trip to Selhurst Park. Dealt well with aerial threats and showed some nice moments on the ball as well. 7. Oleksandr Zinchenko: An assist on his debut was a highlight for the Ukrainian who looks to have settled in quickly. Not the easiest defensive challenge up against Palace's tricky wingers but coped well. 7. Thomas Partey: A few moments where he might have made himself more available as a passing option, but the Ghanaian was largely good. Efficient in possession and defensively solid in front of the backline. 7. Granit Xhaka: Picked up his first yellow of the season for diving but was decent aside from that. Some nice quick passing, but could have maybe done more in the final third.

. Martin Odegaard: Some nice tricks and flicks, but the Norwegian's decision making was a little off on his first Premier League start as Arsenal's official captain. The decision to pass to Martinelli rather than shoot when clean through on goal in the second half stands out as an example of this. 6. Bukayo Saka: His close control ability caused Palace plenty of problems in the first half, but as Arsenal dropped deeper his attacking influence waned. Tracked his runners well to try and support White up against Zaha where possible. Key in the build up to Guehi's own goal that made the game safe for the Gunners. 7. Gabriel Jesus: Started off really well and deserved a goal at the end of his mesmeric dribble through the Palace backline. Struggled to have as a big of an influence in the second half, but good signs of what's to come from the Brazilian. 7. Gabriel Martinelli: Showed a poacher's instinct to pop up with his first goal of the season in the box and caused Palace problems with his fluidity in attack. Didn't grasp the game as much as he would have liked but that is fair given how Arsenal struggled as a whole to dominate in the second period. 7. SUBSTITUTES - Eddie Nketiah: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a. Kieran Tierney: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a. Albert Sambi Lokonga: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
