PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! It's been another busy weekend for Arsenal's loan stars. Arsenal were dealt their latest setback over the weekend with defeat to Manchester City after failing to recover from Raheem Sterling's goal just moments into the Premier League clash. The Gunners have now won just one of their last five games, but they remain hopeful of returning to form and challenging for a top six spot, also still competing in the Europa League. Meanwhile, their loan players have other objectives to take care of as they look to make an impression for their loan clubs and on Mikel Arteta, who will be keeping an eye from afar. Matteo Guendouzi Guendouzi endured a nightmare display as Hertha Berlin suffered a 3-0 home defeat to RB Leipzig. The Arsenal midfielder, who came off the bench in the second half, was caught in his own box with the ball before Nordi Mukiele made it 2-0. And to make matters worse, he lost his man in Willi Orban, who made it 3-0 just 13 minutes later to complete the rout. Hardly a cameo to remember for Guendouzi. William Saliba Saliba is another player who would have been left disappointed on the weekend as Nice fell to a defeat to Metz. There was little the centre-back could do about the first goal, but he certainly could have done better for the second. Amine Gouire scored from the spot to get Nice back into the game, but that was as good as it got for the home side. Ainsley Maitland-Niles Maitland-Niles had no such marking disasters as West Brom played out a goalless draw against Burnley, The midfielder played a full 90 minutes as the Baggies held on with 10 men to claim a point at Turf Moor, leaving them 11 points from safety. It's a result West Brom will take after going down to 10 man after just 30 minutes following Semi Ajayi's red card. Joe Willock Willock is another who played a full 90 minutes and he did manage to make his mark on the game, despite Newcastle eventually lose 3-1 to Manchester United. Allan Saint-Maximin scored an equaliser in the 36th minute and the goal came about after Willock's ball into the box was cleared.

The Magpies are now only three points above the drop after Fulham's win over the weekend. Lucas Torreira Torreira remains starved of regular minutes in the Spanish capital. He did make an appearance over the weekend, though, as Atleti faced Levante for the second time in a matter of days. Diego SImeone's men suffered a shock defeat to Levante, losing 2-0 and Torreira was sent on in the 61st minute, replacing Geoffrey Kondogbia. Atleti were one down at the time and after Jan Oblak was sent up for a corner in the dying minutes, Levante made it two after latching on to a clearance and rolling the ball home from just past the halfway line.
