PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Aaron Cresswell is one of West Ham's longest-serving players and has said this is the best Hammers squad he has been involved in. Ahead of their final three games, the defender believes the team are still in with a great shout of securing European football for next season. If West Ham can take all nine points they will guarantee themselves a top-six finish and at least a Europa League spot and Cresswell thinks that is an achievable goal for the Hammers, but is taking it one game at a time. "One win can define your season in a way, but maximum points is going to be difficult but there is no reason why we cannot go all out for it and certainly that is what we are aiming for now," Cresswell told talkSPORT. Part of West Ham's success this season, Creswell said, was due to the character in the squad. "I have been here seven or eight years, and not just because we are doing well now but arguably this is the best dressing room environment I have been in for a long time," he said. "It always helps when you're winning games and doing well of course, but just the togetherness and the team spirit takes you a long way and we have certainly shown that." "No, of course not," he said, "If I am being honest the last couple of years have been tough, certainly last year we were in a relegation battle and it pretty much went right down to the last games. "But of course the gaffer has come in and done really well and yeah we had a bad start to the season, we lost the first game to Newcastle, the second to Arsenal and then we went to Wolves and Leicester and that turned our season around and ever since then we have not looked back. "It has been a fantastic ride and with three games to go let's see where we can finish." How to get our daily West Ham United newsletter Why should you sign up? In each football.

Cresswell agreed that Declan Rice had been a big loss to the team through his injury absence but hinted that the vice-captain could be available for the trip to Brighton this weekend. "He is a massive player and everyone knows that," Cresswell said. "He has had a fantastic season and for someone so young to captain the side when Nobes [Mark Noble] is not playing. "He has a massive future ahead of him, it's great he is a part of our team and hopefully, we have got him back for this weekend and hopefully, he can kick on and go to the Euro's as well."
