But the Prime Minister said "we can't be complacent" as shops welcome back customers for the first time in months. Addressing the nation, Mr Johnson said: "The net result of your efforts and of course the vaccine rollout is that I can today confirm that from Monday April 12, we will move to step two of our roadmap. "Reopening shops, gyms, zoos, holiday campsites, personal care services like hairdressers and of course beer gardens and outdoor hospitality of all kinds." Anyone planning to visit stores in England will need to follow strict rules to keep themselves and other shoppers safe. Each shop will have its own set of rules and guidelines, the Manchester Evening News reports. But here are all the latest Government rules for visiting non-essential shops from April 12.
