PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Graeme Souness says he has been proved right in his prediction that Callum Wilson would keep Newcastle United in the Premier League. The forward netted twice in Friday's 4-2 win over Leicester City for his 11th and 12th goals of the season, with the victory moving the Magpies 12 points clear of the drop zone. Whilst Newcastle are not yet mathematically safe, Fulham need to win all of their remaining games to leapfrog them. Speaking on Sky Sports, Souness revealed he always felt Wilson's goals would be enough to keep Steve Bruce's side safe from relegation. Yet the former Magpies boss argued that another striker is needed in order to take the pressure off Wilson. "I did their first game of the season against West Ham and Callum Wilson scored that day, although maybe it should have been disallowed but it stood, and I said if they keep him fit, they'll be fine this year. "That's 12 goals he's got now.
