PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Police cordoned off a train station following reports of a 'woman in distress'. Police received a report of a 'woman in distress' at Seaham train station at around 8pm on Saturday, March 27. Officers arrived at the scene and a cordon was put in place. The cordon remained in place over that weekend as officers carried out their investigations.

. Durham Constabulary has now said the matter is not believed to be as first reported and enquiries are ongoing. A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police were called at 8pm on Saturday, March 27 following reports of a woman in distress at Seaham train station. "Enquiries are continuing, but at present the matter is not believed to be as first reported to the police."
