PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Officers are appealing for help to trace two drivers who fled from the scene of a suspected hit and run on the A19 in Sunderland. Northumbria Police was called shortly before 6pm on Sunday (July 24) after receiving a report of a three-car crash on the A19 northbound, near the junction with A183 Hylton Bridge. It was reported that a car had been travelling on the road when, for reasons yet to be established, it collided with a silver Nissan Micra and another car – also travelling on the road in the same direction. Emergency services attended however, while the driver of the Nissan Micra remained at the scene, the driver of the two other vehicles left before police arrived. An investigation was launched to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash, and officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
