PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Former Newcastle United winger Kenedy has finally revealed the reasons behind his mysterious drop off in form during his second season on Tyneside. Kenedy initially joined Newcastle on a loan deal until the end of the season in January 2018 and he was a revelation, as he helped inspire the newly promoted Magpies to a top half Premier League finish. The 25-year-old has admitted he 'felt at home' working under Rafa Benitez at Newcastle and could 'feel the warmth' from United's 'amazing' and 'so fanatic' supporters. He also became close to the core Spanish speaking group that included the likes of Ayoze Perez, Javi Manquillo, Joselu, Federico Fernandez, Mo Diame, Florian Lejeune and, latterly, Salomon Rondon. A stoppage time penalty miss against Cardiff in the second game of the season set the tone for a hugely underwhelming season. Unsurprisingly, Kenedy's deal was not made permanent and after a loan spell with Getafe last season, the winger is now thriving on loan with Spanish side Granada.
