PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Dancing on Ice fans expecting to tune into the latest live show on Sunday will be disappointed after it was axed due to a contestant crisis on the new series. While there have only actually been four eliminations a total of eight celebs have left the show in a month, with Jason Donovan also having to sit out last week as he rested a back injury. Myleene Klass, Graham Bell, Matt Richardson and most recently, Amy Tinkler, have all been sent packing from the rink after losing out in the Skate Off, while Denise Van Outen and Billie Faiers both quit Dancing on Ice due to injury, Billie, a week on from missing a live show due to a family bereavement. Comedian Rufus Hound had to eventually quit after coming into contact with coronavirus and then testing posting for Covid-19, before bookies favourite and front runner Joe-Warren Plant also left alongside pro Vanessa Bauer after he too tested positive. . Announcing the decision to 'pause' the show for a week, a spokesperson for ITV said: "Each week our production team and cast have delivered a fantastic show during incredibly challenging times. "The welfare of all of those involved is important to us and we felt it prudent to take a week’s break at this juncture. "Continuing to make the best TV for our viewers is of paramount importance to us and we look forward to resuming the competition next week, with the show back live on Sunday 28 th February."
