PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Newcastle United travel to Burnley on Sunday in what is a huge clash at the bottom of the Premier League table. The Magpies stretched the gap between themselves and the relegation zone to three points last weekend after a spirited 2-2 draw with Tottenham at St James' Park. They now have a big opportunity to pull further clear of the drop zone when they take on a Burnley side who aren't quite safe from danger themselves. The Clarets are seven points clear of the drop zone but Newcastle can reel them back into danger with a win in Lancashire. However, both sides have a number of injury concerns to contend with ahead of the clash at Turf Moor. Here's the latest injury news affecting both clubs. Following a month-long rehabilitation camp in Bournemouth, Wilson returned to individual training at Newcastle's Benton base a three weeks ago and the striker admitted he had a return date 'in mind'. A tweet hinting he 'can't wait to get back out there' last week sparked optimism among Newcastle fans that he would be fit to return against Tottenham last weekend but Bruce confirmed in last Friday's press conference that it would come too soon. The next few days are set to be crucial in determining his fitness and the Magpies will hope their principal goal threat can return to action on Sunday ahead of the final eight matches of the relegation run-in. Isaac Hayden Newcastle confirmed Hayden has been ruled out with injury for the rest of the season. Hayden was stretchered off during last month's 3-0 defeat to Brighton with a knee injury, after a Jonjo Shelvey challenge on Seagulls midfielder Yves Bissouma saw the latter inadvertently clatter into Hayden's planted leg. However, the 26-year-old will not require surgery. The Swiss international has started running on an anti-gravity treadmill as he steps up his recovery in the hope of being fit for Switzerland's European Championships campaign this summer. Newcastle will hope he can be fit prior to the end of their Premier League campaign and his progress in the next month will be crucial in determining a return date to action for the 29-year-old. Allan Saint-Maximin Saint-Maximin injured his groin in the February draw with Wolves but made his long awaited return to action in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham. He was instrumental in the build-up to the second goal and Bruce will hope he can unleash his tricky winger from the start against Burnley on Sunday. Burnley Robbie Brady Brady picked up an injury while on international duty with the Republic of Ireland and is set to miss out on action for a few weeks, meaning he will be unavailable against the Magpies.

. "It looks like one that will keep him out a few weeks." Ashley Barnes The Clarets forward has been out of action for the last six Premier League matches and although he is making progress on his recovery from a thigh injury, he is expected to miss out against Newcastle. Speaking last week, Dyche said: "Barnesy is making good progress but he is not quite there yet but he is coming through his training programme so we are hopeful that will be sooner rather than later but he will need a bit of training with the players."
