Many of the slots for November and December 2022 have already been taken, but luckily more mid-week tickets have just been released. The after-dark illuminated festive trail is open now at the National Trust's historic estate and parkland until Monday, January 2, 2023. There will be plenty of new and exciting fixtures for locals to see this year, as well as plenty of favourites making a come-back. Families will be able to glimpse the popular Neon Tree once again on the one-mile trail. Father Christmas will also be making a come-back to greet visitors during their walk under the stars. Those who are visiting the venue for the second or third time can rest assured that there will be plenty of new and curated installations to spark their curiosity. The fixtures this year will have a botanical theme and include a glowing tunnel of giant gladioli, giant lilies, and a multi-coloured laser garden within the woodland area. Visitors will be able to see fixtures like this unique tree drenched in jewel-like colour during the festive light trail There will additionally be a floral-inspired piece called ‘Light a Wish’ - an enormous shining structure mimicking the shape of floating dandelion heads, reaching far into the crisp winter sky. Christmas at Dunham Massey promises an enjoyable time for visitors of all ages, families and friends will be able to make cherished memories and pause for moments of reflection during the majestically illuminated light trail, which will be choreographed to a soundtrack of festive favourites. . The trail will close at 10pm and final entry on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve will be at 7:15pm. Visitors can purchase their tickets to guarantee the date and time slot of their choice online. Tickets for adults cost £22.50 each, and for children £14.50 (aged 3-16 years). Tickets for a family of four (two adults and two children) are £72. Free entry is available for carers and children aged two and under.
