PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A teenage boy has been seriously injured after being stabbed in Chorlton. Police were called to Barlow Moor Road - close to the junction with Mauldeth Road West and Hardy Lane - just before 7pm on Wednesday. The victim has been taken to hospital. Police say there was a large gathering of youths in the area around the time of the attack. Witnesses at the scene told the Manchester Evening News that around 100 people, mainly youths, had gathered close to the Co-op for a wake to a teenager killed in a car crash. Detectives on the scene could be seen examining CCTV footage from neighbouring buildings and carrying out door-to-door enquiries. The police scene in the car park of the Co-op on Hardy Lane (Image: Manchester Evening News) A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At 6.55pm on Wednesday police were called to Barlow Moor Road to reports of a male having been stabbed. "On arrival officers found a male youth with serious injuries and a large gathering of youths. "He has been taken to hospital. "Police remain at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing."
