PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Molly-Mae Hague is supporting her best friend Maura Higgins after her heartbreaking split from their Love Island co-star Chris Taylor. Maura is being comforted by Molly-Mae, who she met on the 2019 series of the ITV2 dating show, after the painful break-up. Last week Maura, 30, confirmed the news on her Instagram Stories, saying the couple had taken the joint decision to end their relationship. She wrote: "It breaks my heart to even type this. But I wanted to let everyone know that myself and Chris have made the joint decision to end our relationship. Maura announced the sad news that she and Chris have split (Image: Maura Higgins/Instagram) "There is no wrongdoing on either side… we still love, care and respect each other deeply. "From the minute we met each other we’ve been very close friends and that will never change." She explained: "There is no regret. Life is about taking chances. "We wanted to make this work but we have realised we work better being friends. (Image: Instagram) "Whilst I appreciate people may speculate or create false stories, this is the truth. "I wish Chris nothing but the best and I will always be one of his biggest supporters." Asked in a Q&A with fans if Maura has moved in with her Molly-Mae, 21, from Manchester, said she hasn't. But the friends have formed a support bubble together. "No. We are in the same support bubble," Molly-Mae explained. A cute snap posted on Maura's Instagram Stories showed Molly-Mae's beloved toy elephant Ellie Belly in a car parked outside a branch of Nandos.
