PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Good Morning Britain viewers found themselves 'switching over' not long into the first episode of the week. Susanna Reid was back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Monday alongside Adil Ray who returned after a week away while Alastair Campbell guest hosted the show. And all the morning news was focused on the latest lifting of lockdown measures in England despite the Prime Minister urging a 'heavy dose of caution'. But as well as many hospitality venues opening indoors for the first time today and travel out of the country allowed to green list countries, there is also the matter of hugging which is now allowed after more than a year of strict measures. While Adil was keen to give his co-host a hug, Susanna wasn't having any of it and rebutted his advances. But Adil stood up and opened his arms, ready to embrace Susanna. "Come on, I haven’t seen you in such a long time," he said as Susanna remained firmly in her seat. She replied: "What did Dr Hilary say? I am still in the mood for a virtual hug!" To which Dr Hilary added: "Lots of people are still nervous for a hug!" Susanna later explained her reason for rejecting Adil, saying: "Apologies, I am just protecting you first of all, who knows what I might have, but secondly if we ration or hugs you can hug more important people." But he hit back: "Susanna let's be honest if there was no pandemic you would still not hug people! Susanna later said again: "Ration your hugs. I’m saving mine for my mum and dad, sorry Adil." And viewers were in agreement.

. Another said: "'Ration you hugs!' This is one of the me best things @susannareid100 has said in a while! #gmb PREACH!" "Somebody explain to @adilray that nobody what’s a hug. #GMB," a third added. A fourth fumed: "Adil Ray needs to f***** STOP with the hugging. Some people don’t want to so just drop it. Ughhhhhhhhh cringing so bad #GMB." Adil clapped back at Susanna (Image: ITV) But another kindly offered: "@gmb sending a virtual hug to @adilray he seems to be missing them so much seeing @susannareid100 doesn't like hugs to much will send a big smile #gmb #happymonday. Others, however, were baffled by being told how to hug. "Look Britain, @DrHilaryJones is showing you how to hug to stay safe," tweeted one. Another argued: "I can’t be the only one finding this awful TV? Mucking around whilst Dr Hilary tries to explain the best way to say safe, whilst you can hug again. Also pressuring Susanna for a hug was awkward. Don’t mock people who don’t want to hug!? @GMB laughing about it!?!" "Please stop going on about hugging. It is not worthy of so much air time. I am sure the message about safety has been received," a third asked.
