PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Alison Hammond has divided her Twitter followers after asking a 'genuine question' about vaccinations and lockdown. The This Morning star took to her social media account on Monday ahead of the Prime Minister's 'roadmap' announcement. Alison asked: "Genuine Question !! if all the old and vulnerable have been vaccinated, why are we still in lockdown? am i missing something?" The tweet attracted hundreds of comments and more than seven thousands likes with many answering the presenter's question. Others were angered by the message. "Is this really a serious question? You believe everyone who’s vulnerable have had their vaccines? Both of them? I’m glad you think only these people can be affected by Covid! I’d delete if I were you," wrote one. They haven’t had 2nd vaccine ..simple. As a TV personality you need to be careful with these type of tweets they aren’t helpful. You should speak to Dr Chris before tweeting things like this." A third added: "Really disappointing seeing someone so prominent asking such a question if only the elderly and vulnerable were getting sick/dying the entire WORLD wouldn't be on lockdown.

." The message continued: "I'm actually exhausted still having to explain this to people. This virus is random and unpredictable. It's affecting everyone differently. So naive to say only elderly or people with conditions will be sick. Long Covid is horrendous for so many also." This prompted Alison to respond: "arh babes so sorry my tweet has stressed you out ! maybe if you unfollow it may help with your stress levels." But she did get supported too, with co-star and Dr Ranj Singh, replying to her post. "Lots of reasons - we need as many people to be vaccinated as possible for maximum protection (including for old people), and we have to stay in lockdown until numbers are down significantly," he said. To which Alison replied: "thanks @DrRanj," alongside a double love heart emoji.
