Fine and Country recently published their definitive list of the UK's top 20 prettiest villages and Iffley, which sits on the banks of the River Thames in Oxfordshire, has been named as one of them. The quaint and pretty village sits on the Oxford Canal, straddling the section of the River Thames which runs through the outskirts of Oxford. The designated conservation area has a fairy-tale vibe, its leafy streets lined with cute cottages, quaint Victorian terraces, and traditional pubs.

Local residents' group Friends of Iffley Village told Fine and Country: “Iffley is proud of its long history and varied landscapes including a weir and lock and the ancient and magnificent St Mary’s Church in its spacious churchyard.
