According to the Metropolitan Police, the man approached the 12-year-old boy at the junction of Vauxhall Bridge Road and Udall Street at around 3.54pm on Wednesday (May 12).

. When the member of the public stepped in, the man let go of the boy and left, walking away in the direction of Vauxhall Bridge. The victim did not sustain any lasting injuries, but was understandably shocked by the incident, detectives said. The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation and have released an image of a man they are keen to identify and speak with.
