Parents are being urged not to feed two products from Cow & Gate and Aptamil to their babies after pieces of apple stalk were found in some of them. Tesco issued the product recall on Thursday, April 8, warning parents to "not feed the affected product to your baby". Cow & Gate and Aptamil are recalling certain date codes of the following items: Cow & Gate My First Muesli 10+ months 330G, Best Before dates 20/12/21 and 04/01/22 Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli 10+ months 275G, Best before date 16/01/22 This is due to finding pieces of apple stalk in some of the products, Tesco confirmed. A statement from the supermarket said the recall was issued "as a precaution". What should I do? If parents are worried they have bought either of these products, Tesco said they should not feed it to their baby.
