The Mayor of London made the commitment in a London Labour Twitter post, saying "I call on men to be different and do more but we must challenge men who create abusive environments. "That's why I've invested more than £2.5 million in programmes addressing the behaviours of abusers and providing early intervention services. "I will build on the success of the Women's Night Safety Charter and refresh my Violence Against Women and Girls strategy so that we take a public health approach to keeping women safe in our city.
