On April 12, non-essential retail will open once again and shoppers can get back to their favourite places. Shopping centres will also open, with specific Covid-19 guidance in place for the safety of all visitors and staff. My London has rounded up all the latest rules for London's shopping centres ahead of non-essential shops reopening. Westfield Stratford Inside Westfield, Stratford (Image: Rachael Davis) All customers must wear face coverings at Westfield Stratford unless exempt, with retail staff also expected to wear masks. Sign-posted entry and exits will be in place to ensure a one-way system throughout Westfield, with all customers asked to keep to the left and maintain social distancing. Westfield are providing hand sanitizer dispensers at every entrance, lift lobby and car park, as well as implementing vending machines with masks available to purchase. The mall has removed seating areas, except for disabled guests or those in need of support, and will be reducing entry to toilets and lifts for social distancing purposes. All customers are encouraged to use card payments only. Westfield White City At Westfield White City, all customers must wear masks inside unless exempt as well as following a one-way system around the mall.

Westfield will reduce entry to toilets and lifts to ensure social distancing, and there may be queue measures in place to manage the number of people inside the building.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre are implementing a number of safety measures to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors. A one-way system is in place throughout the centre, with signage to guide visitors as to where they can go. There are also clear signs to remind visitors of the need to socially distance themselves from each other and to avoid shopping in large groups, in accordance with the government guidelines. Masks are mandatory throughout the shopping centre, including in stores, unless exempt and there are hand sanitizer stations available. They are also restricting how many people can enter Brent Cross Shopping Centre and individual stores at any one time. Toilets will be open but with restrictions on numbers. Bluewater Shopping Centre

At Bluewater Shopping Centre, customers will have to follow their one-way system, keeping left as they move around the centre and following the arrows on the floor. There is strict signage in place to remind visitors to keep their distance, and hand sanitizer stations have been installed across the centre for anyone who needs it. They are recommending only card payments, and are reducing the number of people inside the centre at any given time. Mask wearing is mandatory as well, unless exempt.
