PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! The budget airline Jet2 has updated when flights and holidays will restart this year following Boris Johnson's lockdown roadmap announcement. The airline and holiday company has decided to extend the period that flights are suspended from April 14 to May 16. This follows the Government confirming that the very earliest that international flights could resume would be May 17.

In a statement Jet2 said: "following the UK Government announcement that international travel will not return until May 17 at the earliest, we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights up to and including May 16." The ChronicleLive reported on Tuesday (February 22) Jet2 reported a 600% surge in bookings for the Summer in response to the Government's plans for leaving lockdown.
