London news 'I tried to make an outfit out of Aldi special buys and I can't leave the house' Uk news
PremierLeague-News.Com - Do I look insane? Yes. Am I half naked? Yes. Would I ever wear it outside? No. But is it a look? Yes.
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Supermarkets are one of the pillars of British humour. Hear me out now - I mean it. You can take the piss out of someone by simply saying they have "Waitrose energy". You can describe something rank by likening it to the smell of Poundland (why is it so bad?). And nothing is more universally funny than the Lidl middle aisle. But what you may not have realised is that the Lidl middle aisle has a cousin - the Aldi special buy. These special buys are items which appear in Aldi at a discounted price with a one-off chance to purchase. As their tagline goes: "Once they're gone, they're gone". Aldi special buys are a way of life. They have their own Instagram page. There is an entire Facebook group dedicated to them. Shoppers have queued overnight for Aldi special buys before, as if they're a Supreme drop in 2014 or something. They can be as rogue as you like - from gazebos to clothes and people still eat them up, whatever they are.

So I set myself the ultimate task: If Aldi special buys are so good, could it be possible to make an entire outfit out of them? I often think this when I wander through Aldi and Lidl's weird homeware and clothing sections (aka the Bermuda triangle of supermarket aisles), but never trusted my ability to commit to making a full outfit. However, given the rising popularity of Aldi special buys, I reckoned it was time to put them to the test. So I headed to Camden's Aldi to buy the goods, heart full of hope. Sadly, I was met with quite a dilapidated stock, so bought the only things that were left in the crates.
