PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Ever since I was a baby, my mum told me the story of how I used to eat a bowl of lamb cereal mix and as soon as I'd finished, I would sob and want more. To this day, I enjoy meat just as much as when I first tasted it. This includes steak, kebabs, grilled chicken, venison, duck - and I've even tried squirrel. Nevertheless, a couple of times a week I'll rustle up something veggie to balance the books and go on a mini detox. This can be anything from watercress soup to some veg noodles. I've also tried a few of Tesco's vegan products, like their beanburgers and veggie mince, but I've never tried their plant based patties that resemble meat from their appearance and colour. An assemblage of the ultimate vegan burger (Image: Reemul Balla) It smelled quite appetising and looked like a proper cheeseburger. It looked scrumptious (Image: Reemul Balla) But it all boils down to the taste. I took my first bite, slightly apprehensive yet curious. The soft bread had soaked the juices of the vegan patty and complemented it perfectly. All the other ingredients happily married with one another and I felt like Gordon Ramsey himself in the moment. The taste of the burger itself did not disappoint. It tasted meaty, hearty and was very filling despite it's medium size. I couldn't tell the difference between a meat one and this one (Image: Reemul Balla) I polished off my lunch in record time and then a question popped into my head. Should I quit eating meat and replace my diet with adequate vegan substitutes? Lost in the reverie for a matter of moments I snapped back into reality. Read More Related Articles
