The scuttlebutt around London born actor Daniel Kaluuya taking on the role means he could potentially become the first ever Black Doctor, following the first ever woman on the series.

This wouldn’t be the thespian's first stint on the science fiction series, as Daniel appeared on the show in 2009 playing Barclay in Planet of the Dead. His acting chops don’t stop there either. The London actor starred in the Oscar winning films Black Panther and Get Out, and received a EE Rising Star BAFTA. Other shakeups on the set were announced following the departure of Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole.
