Kristina Wood, 31, was walking down Grange Road West in Birkenhead at around 11.45am on Thursday when a car pulled up onto the kerb beside her. .” Detectives are now appealing for witnesses following Kristina's report of an attempted abduction. The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s or early 50s with short balding light-coloured hair and large build. Police have opened a full investigation, including house-to-house, witness and CCTV enquiries. Detective inspector Phil Ryan said: “The victim is very shaken by this ordeal and thankfully managed to run away from the offender.
