PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A man in his 20s is recovering after he was shot in the hand on a Merseyside street. A second man escaped serious injury by inches after his coat was damaged by the gunfire. Police were called out to Greenwich Road in Aintree at around 8pm on Monday evening. A man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to his hand. He was taken to hospital. This evening police confirmed that the man's injury was "non-life threatening." There was a large police presence in the area today until this afternoon, when Greenwich Road was re-opened.
