PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! The devastated family of a dad who died after being hit by a bus have paid tribute to him. Norman Rigby was hit by a bus on Canal Street, near to the Bridgewater Complex, in Bootle, at around 3.55pm on Monday, November 7. Emergency services rushed to the scene but Norman was sadly dead in hospital a short time later. Norman's son, Sam, has now released a tribute through Merseyside Police in which he thanked everyone who came to his dad's aid on the night of his death. It's been a real comfort to the family to know that so many people were so fond of my dad. "We'd like to especially thank anyone that tried to help my dad on the night of the incident in whatever way they could. On a personal note, I’d like to say how grateful I am that my dad was with people who cared about him when he was in need.

. Detective Sergeant Kurt Timpson from the Merseyside Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Norman was much loved by his family and his death has had a big impact on them.
