A young woman came to Whitechapel Centre, a leading homeless and housing charity in the city, after experiencing domestic abuse. The abuse meant the woman was homeless for most of her adult life. After commenting on how nice her Pathways worker's nails were, Whitechapel took her to L1 Nails on Lord Street for a manicure. The lovely gesture then led to the woman making a huge decision on the next steps of her life.
