PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Prime Minister Boris Johnson has set out his roadmap out of lockdown in a speech to the House of Commons. Topics on the agenda included when schools and non-essential shops, gyms and salons would reopen, when people can visit their loved ones in care homes and when restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars can reopen again. Another industry that was anxious to hear the government's plans, was the family attractions industry including soft play centres, family farms and zoos. Children's soft play centres in Liverpool were forced to close back in October 2020, when the city region was put into Tier 3. Enter your postcode below to find out about coronavirus cases in your area: Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram secured an agreement to standardise the restrictions for Tier 3 areas, which at the time allowed gyms and leisure centres in the region to reopen but meant soft play centres were forced to close causing outrage among some soft play owners. Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari have also been forced to close since the beginning of Lockdown 3. Both have been open and closed for several periods of time during the pandemic. Today, Boris Johnson told the House of Commons that outdoor attractions including zoos and theme parks will be allowed to reopenno earlier than April 12 . Indoor leisure facilities like gyms will also reopen no earlier than April 12 for use individually or within household groups. This is also the provisional date for reopening hospitality venues like pubs and restaurants, but only for outdoor dining and drinking. The Prime Minister also said that social contact rules for outdoor meet-ups will be expected to be removed no earlier than May 17 , although it will remain illegal to have gatherings of more than 30 people.
