PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Everton have confirmed that another milestone in the building of the club’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock has been hit. The Blues have revealed that the first section of roof truss has been hoisted into place in the South Stand. The move comes a week after the initial lift in the North Stand was completed. The 100-tonne steel section – the first segment of three separate trusses that will span across the stand – was bolted into the South West corner on Tuesday morning, with the club’s construction partners, Laing O’Rourke, taking advantage of the fine early morning weather to complete the installation. Each completed truss is made up of three pre-assembled pieces, constructed and painted pitchside before being lifted into place. The club has also revealed that Laing O’Rourke aim to have all five of the full span roof trusses in place by Easter 2023.
