This is the bizarre moment a contestant on the 'Icelandic University Challenge' had a temper tantrum and stormed off set after the opposing team correctly answered the winning question.The disgruntled student, Jón Jörund Guðmundsson, had been taking part in the TV show Gettu Betur - which translates to Make a Better Guess.But, when his rivals were crowned winners, the young man was quick to show his fierce disapproval.He smashed a glass to the floor before jumping to his feet, tipping his podium and throwing water in the direction of his own teammates.The sore loser then stormed through the studio and could be heard causing more chaos off camera - as the others watched in astonishment. In the clip, which aired on February 19, we see the captain of the 'red' team, from secondary school Tækniskólinn, Reykjavík, seconds after answering the final question of the competition - which is about female tennis players. There is a brief pause before host Kristjana Arnarsdóttir nods and confirms he is correct before the studio audience burst into applause.But not everyone is quite so congratulatory as Jon, who is a member of the opposing 'blue' team from school Fjölbrautaskólinn við Ármúla, also in Reykjavík, reacts with fury.He grabs hold of a glass of water that has been sitting on his podium and hurls it aggressively at the studio floor.
