PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Liverpool’s players are taking a well earned rest following a hectic season, but there is not long to go until it all starts again. The Reds’ season finished three weeks ago with the Champions League final defeat in Paris, and since then all of the squad have gone their separate ways for the summer. Many have been on holiday, while others took part in international duty with their respective countries before taking a break. Jurgen Klopp also knows the full pre-season schedule for the Reds, after two more fixtures were confirmed. A day later, the Reds welcome French club Strasbourg to Anfield for their final friendly of the summer. With pre-season a month away, Liverpool players will very soon be heading back to Kirkby for the first day of training. Klopp and his players set to return to work at the training ground on Monday, July 4. While it has not yet been confirmed which players will be in attendance for the opening day’s session, we can surmise as to who is likely to be there. It could also include some new signings.

. The latter of those was recently in Colombia playing a friendly match in his hometown. New signing Calvin Ramsay was also not on international duty this summer, and is likely to be involved on the first day of pre-season. Some players who were on loan last season could also be in attendance on the first day of pre-season training. Rhys Williams, Ben Davies and Nat Phillips could all be there. The same could be said for Neco Williams, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham. However, there is the possibility that he could depart before pre-season training begins, with the right-back attracting interest. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk were both on international duty with England and the Netherlands, respectively earlier this month. Both were released from their camps early, though, and may want to be involved in the opening day of pre-season training. New signings Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho also took part in international duty this month. Normally, they would be due back slightly later than their other team-mates, but after only signing this summer they may want to make a good impression by coming into training early. Klopp will also want to look at some of the younger players during pre-season. Last term saw the likes of Kaide Gordon, Tyler Morton, Owen Beck, Conor Bradley and a host of others impress, while Leighton Clarkson and Marcelo Pitaluga are also held in high regard.
