PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Sefton Council has responded to the appointment of a new commissioner to help turn around its troubled children’s services. Paul Boyce has been appointed as the new commissioner responsible for Sefton Council's children’s services following a review carried out by previous commissioner Paul Moffat, which was released last month. Mr Moffat said that while improvements were being made at Sefton children’s services, these were not coming quickly enough. READ MORE: First picture of 'lovely' man killed at rail station However, Mr Moffat held back from recommending the council relinquish control of the service, which received an inadequate Ofsted rating following an inspection carried out earlier this year.

. Sefton Council told the ECHO it welcomes the new commissioner, who had also recently been appointed as chair of its improvement board.
