PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! 635677220">Harry Kane has limited resale value and so Tottenham must sell him as soon as possible if they want to cash in before his market price plummets. That is according to ex-West Ham striker Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after The Sun reported that Spurs would not let Kane go for any less than £175million. The same report claims that the club are unwilling to let the 27-year-old leave to a Premier League rival. Kane signed a six-year £200,000 per week contract in 2018 but has been linked with the likes of Man City since revealing that he will consider his future after the Euros. McAvannie assets that Kane would be a success at City and that only clubs of their enormous wealth could afford to recruit a player with negligible resale value.

“I know he loves Tottenham but if he was to go to Man City, the chances he would be getting would be extraordinary. Players want medals and he’ll get them at Man City if he wants them.
“He’s nearly 28 but only clubs like Man City will be able to afford them because there’s not gonna be a resale value attached to him.”
Kane has been in stunning form this season, netting 29 goals and laying on 16 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.
