He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “Wages increased in 2020 but I’m unconvinced they’ll go up again in 2021.
“Their wage packages are highly incentivised and they haven’t been hugely successful on the field.
“If the club doesn’t make the Champions League, which is a distinct possibility, it will definitely fall much further.
