That is the view of Parkhead legend Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the events that have transpired since the club have returned from their winter training camp. The Hoops were forced to field a depleted side against Hibernian on Monday night after Christopher Jullien tested positive for Covid-19 upon his return from Dubai. Neil Lennon, John Kennedy and 13 first team players were forced to self-isolate as a result and subsequently missed the 1-1 draw – they will also be unavailable for Saturday’s game against Livingston. The club were adamant that they have done no wrong in an initial statement and insisted that this Covid situation could have occurred as easily in Scotland.
