Officers were called to Drift Service Reservoir near Penzance on Thursday following reports of a body in the water.The victim has been named as Edward Hinds who was confirmed dead at the scene despite efforts by the police to revive him with CPR.Mr Hinds was originally from the Midlands but had been living in the Lelant area for the last few weeks. When emergency crews started CPR they discovered the wound to his chest. Police have today made an arrest following the discovery of a body on ThursdayA 50-year-old man 'with links to Cornwall' was arrested today. Detective Inspector Steve Hambly, from the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: 'I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who believes they know Edward or may have had contact with him since he moved to the Lelant area of Cornwall.'I would also like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of Drift Service Reservoir or Lelant during the period of February 15 through till February 18.'
