PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A walker has been rescued and taken to hospital after suffering a fall on the South West Coastpath. The person in question tripped and fell by the Pentire steps at around 9.30am today (Monday, May 3). Both air and land ambulances attended, before transporting the individual to hospital. Padstow Coastguard posted about the incident on its Facebook page. "Team tasked to a person that had fallen on the coast path. The Cornwall Air Ambulance and South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust were also in attendance," the coastguard said.

. "The team carried the casualty by stretcher from the coast path to the ambulance. Once the casualty was as placed in the care of the ambulance and the handover was completed, the team stood down."
They were not the only person who had to be rescued after suffering a fall by the coast. A man had to be helicoptered to hospital with multiple injuries after falling from cliffs by the Minack Theatre. A yellow weather warning remains in place for much of the south of England, with wind speeds approaching 60mph being reported in the area.
