PremierLeague-News.Com - Cornwall - Is someone in Truro really offering a free sexual service?
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! If you're heading into Truro and glance left on Tregolls Road you would be forgiven for thinking it's the best offer in the world. A sign seems to suggest a certain sexual act is being provided free of charge. The words 'FREE', 'BLOW' and 'JOB' have left motorists, uh, giggling, at the least. Drivers' eyes have been out on stalks as they enter the city. "Did that really say what I thought it said?" thousands of people have asked themselves. Well, no, not quite. The sign has become a talking point for people in the city as well as those visiting, including a great many tourists who have spread the word across the rest of the country that us Cornish might be a bit sex mad. It's actually a clever advertising ploy by James Green, who runs Green Sparks PAT Testing. Read more: The funniest and punniest business names and signs in Cornwall The sign has a bit more of a mouthful than those three words would suggest. It actually reads: "FREE repairs, plugs and fuses. Don't BLOW a fuse. We'll get the JOB done." James, who placed the sign in his roadside garden, told CornwallLive: "It's certainly getting some notice. Most people understand the joke but others think it's a misprint. I've had a few comments from people on holiday who have said it has made them laugh on the way into Truro.

. I haven't had any complaints - it's in my own back garden, I wouldn't put it up at Cornwall Services or anywhere like that!"
Look a bit closer and the sign isn't as rude as first impressions might suggest (Image: Lee Trewhela / CornwallLive) He added: "It's a bit tongue-in-cheek and is definitely not meant to offend. I'm a father so I wouldn't want to embarrass my family." In fact, James' student son Ben loved the sign so much he took it into Truro during the Tour of Britain visit to the city last year. "He told me, 'Dad I'm going to take it into town and try and get on the telly' - he's not backwards in coming forwards." James first ... erm ... erected the sign during the original lockdown and now rotates it with other signs, offering charity discounts and school offers. His PAT testing business, which tests plugs in schools, colleges, hotels, holiday lets and other businesses across Cornwall, is particularly busy during the "silly season" in August. "Because holidaymakers have commented on the sign before, I thought it would be nice to put it back up again this summer." The Green Sparks PAT Testing name will definitely be on the tips of everyone's tongues now.
