. So people will be allowed to go on a staycation - but only with members of their household or bubble. When will the tourism sector fully reopen? The rest of the accommodation sector, including hotels, hostels and B&Bs will not reopen before May 17. The rule of six will also be applied indoors. The Government said it will keep each stage of the roadmap out of lockdown under review and will be guided "by data, not dates". It previously said it is hoping things will get back to normal by the end of June. "There will be a minimum of five weeks between each step: four weeks for the scientific data to reflect the changes in restrictions and to be analysed; followed by one week’s advance notice of the restrictions that will be eased," a spokesperson previously explained.
