PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Filming for a new Rosamunde Pilcher movie will continue for a second day tomorrow after crews were spotted in Penryn earlier today. It will be the 131st adaptation of the author's books for German television by FFP New Media production company. A picture of a "filming in progress" sign in the town centre was shared on social media earlier today, raising questions amongst locals as to what the production is. One resident shared a letter in the comments, from a spokesperson for the production company, which explains what the filming is for. The letter says that the crews will be shooting scenes for a new movie, titled Love & Therapy, across various locations on the higher and lower market street in Penryn, between the hours of 9am to 10pm today and tomorrow. It adds that Cornwall Council is aware of the production and the road will not be closed during this time, although the crew will be using traffic control boards after 7pm to assist with filming some of the scenes. Various locations will be used on Higher and Lower market street making use of the wide pavements for filming. "This will not block any of the pavements and pedestrians will be able to pass safely. We may ask people to wait temporarily whilst filming. "A small amount of 'dressing' will take place whereby flower pots and street dressing will be used outside and on the cobbles. Cornwall County Council and the Town Council are aware of our activities." . The majority of rigging and de-rigging of equipment will be scheduled to be carried out at times during the day that will not cause an unreasonable noise or nuisance. "Most of our vehicles will be parked elsewhere and only essential technical and film vehicles will be brought into the area. There will be extra vehicle movements when we arrive and leave and we will have experienced film security and location marshals on hand to manage this." One local resident, Sinead Hanks, told CornwallLive that the crew has "mocked up" a laundrette in an empty shop next to Stargazy café. At the end of last year, the same production company was spotted filming in Redruth, sparking rumours of another TV adaptation of Pilcher's books. They had also been seen filming in Porthleven during lockdown in November 2020. The Germans’ fascination with the novels of Rosamunde Pilcher has led to over 100 episodes over several series of the German-language TV drama set in Cornwall. There are even two spin-off Rosamunde Pilcher TV movies featuring locations across Cornwall, 2001’s Blumen im Regen and Rundum Glücklich in 2015. Pilcher was born in Lelant in 1924 and went on to produce numerous bestsellers. It was announced in February 2019 that the author, behind bestselling family saga The Shell Seekers, had died in Dundee following a stroke, at the age of 94.
