In a video shared with CornwallLive, a smoke and flames can be seen fanned out across a Camborne parish church graveyard as graves are reported to have been burnt. An eyewitness said the fire spread quickly travelling 10 metres over a few minutes. The video shows fire personnel tackling the fire and orange flames over the grounds. Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service was on site and brought the fire under control. An eyewitness who shared the video said: "Camborne parish church graveyard TR14 7DF graveyard [is] on fire. It’s spreading really quickly. It’s travelled 10 m in the last few minutes many graves are on fire. Fire Brigade in attendance and have it under control.

. After an electrical mast caught fire at Kerrier Way, Camborne, the blaze spread to gorse and resulted in over 60 calls to 999. Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service warned people to avoid the area around Kerrier Way during the fire due to the possibility of live electricity. Once the Kerrier Way fire was brought under control, some attending fire crews were already off to other incidents, the fire service spokesperson said. The spokesperson added that it has already been an extremely busy morning for fire crews saying: "During the morning period Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service have attended several incidents across the County, resources from St. Just, Helston, Tolvaddon, Truro, St. Dennis, Newquay, Padstow, St. Austell, Mevagissey, Looe, Delabole, Launceston and Bude have all been mobilised."
