PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A39 this evening. The crash happened just before 5pm today (June 21) on the Penryn near CornwallLive. The A39 and two cars, which collided near the town’s Asda at 4.50pm. Nearby motorists told Devon and Cornwall Police shortly after it happened that it looked serious and that the road had been shut. Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, with two people taken to hospital - one car occupant and the motorcyclist. A spokesperson confirmed that no one sustained life threatening or life changing injuries. Penryn resident Lilly Potter told CornwallLive just after the crash that she saw a "nasty" accident on the A39 near Asda involving a motorbike. Ms Potter said: "All I saw was as passing already happened but it looked really nasty, looked like the motorcyclist was on the floor. "We didn't stay around to see anything else. But a post office van had blocked the second lane on the opposite side of the road with hazard lights on to warn both sides of the road. I say well done to him ."
