PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! More than half of the beds at a Cheshire trust are occupied by COVID-19 patients. Over 60 per cent of hospital beds at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are occupied by COVID-19 patients, the Trust has said. The news came as Dr Darren Kilroy, Medical Director at the Trust, moved to assure patients transferred to other hospitals that they will continue to receive 'high quality' and 'compassionate' care. A spokesperson for the wider NHS said that during periods of increased pressure the NHS works together. This can often mean transferring patients from intensive care units from one hospital to another to provide mutual aid and ensure patients receive the best care. The figure will come as no surprise given the drastic increase in coronavirus cases across the county over the last few weeks.
