PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A mother and her child got trapped in 'swampy' mud during a walk at a Cheshire beauty spot this afternoon (Sunday, May 2). The pair were out for a walk in Tatton Park when they became stuck in mud shortly before 3pm. But quick-thinking on their part by using the app What3words meant emergency services were able to swiftly locate them. A search effort comprising five fire engines from Wilmslow, Lymm, Penketh, Widnes and Warrington was quickly scrambled and the mum and child were rescued by crews. A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 2.53pm firefighters were called to reports of mother and child trapped somewhere in Tatton Park.

. "By using the app 'What 3 Words' the crews were quickly able identify their exactly location and they subsequently rescued by firefighters. "The pair were both passed to the care of paramedics to be checked over as a precautionary measure. "The crews were detained at the incident for around an hour." What3words is a proprietary geocode system that is designed to identify any location with a resolution of about 3 metres.
