PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A fire from a garage in Chester caused huge plumes of smoke to be seen above houses. Today (April 6) at around 1.40pm, firefighters were called following reports of a fire in a garage on Charles Street in the city centre. Four fire engines attended the scene, two from Chester, one from Powey Lane and one from Runcorn. Photos and video of the scene shows clouds of smoke billowing above houses as the fire happened. A picture taken by an eyewitness of the aftermath of the blaze shows part of the building with smoke damage, leaving a black streak on property. On arrival the crew found a fire involving a ground floor garage.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters were called following reports of a fire in a garage on Charles Street. "On arrival the crew found a fire involving a ground floor garage. "Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using one main jet and two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. "They then worked to cut away the affected areas. A thermal imaging camera was used to check the scene."
