But she is still waiting for surgery with the NHS - and during this time she could turn blind. Roxana Rosu has now launched a Gofundme to raise money so she can pay for private treatment because her sight is deteriorating rapidly. The 32-year-old had noticed her bones seemed bigger for some time, but put it down to 'growing older'. But when she started experiencing headaches and sweating, she sought medical advice. She claims several GPs in England told her the symptoms were nothing to worry about and it was only when she returned to her home country Romania when a doctor diagnosed her with a tumour between her optic nerve and brain. She says her symptoms have now grown more severe, including only being able to sleep between three to four hours a night and sweating. "I'm scared for my life," she said. "I'm really struggling - I don't want to turn blind. I'm feeling very stressed out." On March 19, Roxana says an optician said her eyesight had deteriorated compared to her last visit at the start of the month.
