PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A warning has been issued as 'flooding to roads and farmland' is possible in the Bristol area. A flood alert has been put in place for the River Avon by the Environmental Agency for Monday night (August 15). The flood alert remains in place for the evening high tide in Avonmouth on Monday with high water forecast for 10.45pm and force 3 south westerly wind expected. People have been advised to avoid low-lying footpaths in the area and to take care when walking along coastal footpaths. "Flooding to roads and farmland is possible an hour either side of the high tide along the tidal River Avon from Sea Mills to Conham in Bristol and between the Avonmouth Bridge and Shirehampton Park including Pill and Shirehampton," the government body said.
