Drivers travelling to and from Wales are being diverted to the M4 Prince of Wales bridge instead after the decision was taken around 7pm. Earlier today, one lane on each side of the bridge was closed in case vehicles were blown into adjacent lanes by the gales. However, the growing stormy conditions between junction two A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow) and junction one A403 (Aust), have made the structure impassable.
